Dois premiados atores da Broadway planejam em breve conquistar prêmios de TV. Nathan Lane e Kristin Chenoweth estão desenvolvendo o piloto de uma nova sitcom, segundo o jornal The New York Times. A série irá girar em torno de uma dupla de apresentadores de um talk show diário.
Lane foi a estrela da versão original de Os Produtores na Broadway e também do filme baseado no musical. Em televisão nunca deu muita sorte, atuando em comédias fracassadas como Encore! Encore! e Charlie Lawrence.
Já Kristin Chenoweth é bem conhecida dos telespectadores brasileiros: fez o papel da assessora de imprensa Annabeth Schott em The West Wing.
