O canal Comedy Central anunciou esta semana a renovação do desenho animado South Park por mais três temporadas. O mais politicamente incorreto dos desenhos animados da TV americana permanecerá no ar pelo menos até 2011, garantindo mais 42 episódios.
Matt Stone, um dos criadores do desenho fez piada com a notícia:
Mais três de South Park nos dará a oportunidade de ofender muitos mais pessoas.
O acordo com o canal Comedy Central prevê ainda a criação do South Park Digital Studios, que irá oferecer conteúdo ligado ao desenho para outras plataformas.
