Foi trazida a público hoje a lista das indicações ao Arqiva British Academy Television Awards, premiação organizada pela British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), que acontecerá dia 12 de maio, e considerada uma das mais prestigiadas da indústria audiovisual.

As indicações foram as mais diversas possíveis, com grande predominância da cobertura das olimpíadas de Londres e do grande show dado em sua abertura, mas o que mais chama a atenção do público das séries é a disputa acirrada na categoria internacional da premiação: dominada pelos norte-americanos, lutam pelo título as famosas séries Game of Thrones, Girls e Homeland, além de The Bridge, série Suíço-Dinamarquesa.

Ainda não se sabe qual das séries é favorita a levar o prêmio, apesar de Girls já ter ganho neste ano o Royal Television Society Award e um Globo de Ouro.
