A Marvel anunciou oficialmente que Dominic Cooper estará no elenco de Agent Carter. O ator deu vida a Howard Stark em Capitão América: O Primeiro Vingador e dará continuidade ao papel na vindoura série.
A série é estrelada por Hayley Atwell, que viveu Peggy Carter nos dois longas do Capitão América, e seguirá sua vida após o fim da guerra, em 1946. Ela terá de lidar com missões secretas junto a Stark e com seu papel de agente da SSR (Reserva Científica e Estratégica, em tradução livre), a antecessora do que hoje conhecemos como S.H.I.E.L.D.
Além de Atwell e Cooper, Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Enver Gjokaj (Os Vingadores), James D’Arcy (Hitchcock) e Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire) integram o elenco de Agent Carter. A produção executiva fica por conta de Tara Butters e Michele Fazekas; os roteiristas da série são Christopher Markus e Stephen McFeely, responsáveis por Capitão América 1 e 2, e pelo vindouro 3.
A premiere de Agent Carter irá ao ar no primeiro trimestre de 2015, no canal ABC.
