Os atores Christopher McDonald e Julie Hagerty foram escalados para interpretar os pais das personagens de Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) e Jane (Eliza Coupe) em Happy Endings. A participação acontece no sexto episódio da próxima temporada, quando Jane começa a pesquisar piadas sérvias para tentar agradar o “pouco humorado” patriarca.
Christopher McDonald é conhecido pelos trabalhos em séries como Happy Gilmore e Harry’s Law. Já Julie Hagerty esteve no filme Airplane! e fez participações em programas como CSI e Family Guy.
A terceira temporada de Happy Endings estreia dia 23 de outubro, no canal ABC, dos Estados Unidos.
