A atriz CCH Pounder (The Shield) foi escalada para o drama da CBS The Advocates, do criador/produtor-executivo de The Mentalist, Bruno Heller.
The Advocates é centrado na advogada Shannon Carter e no ex-presidiário Henry Bird, que unem forças para lutar por aqueles que foram deixados de lado pelo sistema, agindo praticamente à margem da lei. Pounder interpretará a dedicada chefe do escritório em que Shannon trabalha.
A atriz trabalhou recentemente na série do canal Syfy Warehouse 13. Outros créditos da atriz ainda incluem Revenge, Brothers, Liga da Justiça e Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
