A melhor amiga da Mãe de How I Met Your Dad foi escalada. A personagem em questão, Juliet, será interpretada por Krysta Rodriguez (Smash), e é descrita como uma sexy e poderosa mulher que toca o blog fashion de maior sucesso no país.
Rodriguez junta-se à Greta Gerwig, que interpretará a Mãe (Sally), e à Drew Tarver, que interpretará o melhor amigo de Sally, que agora é casado com seu irmão.
O spinoff de How I Met Your Mother, encabeçado por Emily Spivey, Carter Bays e Craig Thomas, conta a história de um casal do ponto de vista feminino.
