O seriado Breaking Bad nem completou sua series finale e o protagonista da série Bryan Cranston já marcou seu retorno à TV. O ator será mais uma estrela a fazer participação especial na última temporada da série How I Met Your Mother, reprisando o personagem que interpretou quando fez participação especial em 2007. A notícia foi dada pelo canal americano CBS, que transmite a série, no Twitter nesta quarta-feira (25), acompanhado pela hashtag #BreakingMother.
O ator já participou de dois episódios de How I Met Your Mother, ambos filmados no período entre as séries Malcolm in the Middle e Breaking Bad. Agora ele retorna mais uma vez para interpretar Hammond Druthers, o odiado ex-chefe de Ted (Josh Radnor).
Com o fim de Breaking Bad, cujo episódio final será exibido nos Estados Unidos no dia 29 de setembro, Cranston já tem uma grande lista de trabalhos futuros. Seus próximo filmes são Godzilla e Cold Comes the Night, mas a participação na série será seu primeiro papel na TV, após o fim da série. No ano passado, ele também apareceu em um episódio de 30 Rock .
How I Met Your Mother retornou a sua nona e última temporada no último dia 23 de setembro.
