Marlee Matlin, vencedora do Oscar de Melhor Atriz por Children of a Lesser God (Os Filhos do Silêncio) em 1986, fará uma participação especial em Glee. Matlin interpretará ela mesma e será um dos jurados responsáveis por escolher o coral campeão da etapa nacional da competição de canto.
A atriz postou a novidade em seu twitter:

Marlee Matlin já participou de séries como Seinfeld, Desperate Housewives, Law & Order: SVU e The L World. Atualmente, faz parte do elenco de Switched at Birth, da ABC Family.
