A CW está com planos de fazer um reboot da clássica Tales From the Darkside, série antológica de terror dos anos 80 exibida originalmente na CBS.
A série, que seguia a linha de outras antologias clássicas da época como The Twilight Zone e Night Gallery, tinha cada episódio com uma história diferente que terminava com uma reviravolta no fim do episódio. Os temas variavam entre terror, ficção científica e fantasia, e alguns episódios tinham elementos de humor negro ou temas mais alegres.
O projeto já tem um contrato de roteiro que será escrito por Joe Hill, filho do ilustre autor Stephen King. Alex Kurtzman e Roberto Orcci (Sleepy Hollow) serão os produtores executivos junto com Mithc Galin, Heather Kadin e Jerry Golod, produtores executivos da versão original.
