O ator que também já participou de outras séries do canal CW (One Tree Hill e Hellcats) foi contratado mais uma vez. Só que agora vai ter um papel fixo na série 90210, que vai estrear sua quinta temporada.

Segundo a produção do show, Jones vai interpretar Jordan Welland, um editor divertido e inteligente, que será o novo interesse amoroso de Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord).
Além de Robbie Jones, foi confirmada também a participação especial do ator Grant Gustin (de Glee) na nova temporada.
