Se a NBC comemora a boa audiência de Revolution, série apocalíptica que estreou em setembro no canal, a CW não quer ficar atrás. A emissora americana fechou acordo com a produtora Alloy Entertainment (também responsável por Pretty Little Liars) e deve estrear uma atração do gênero nas próximas temporadas.
The Hundred, como vai se chamar, acontece cem anos após a humanidade ter se auto-destruído. Os sobreviventes – que estavam no espaço sideral no momento do apocalipse – voltam para a Terra na tentativa de recolonizá-la.
O projeto será produzido por Leslie Morgenstein (Gossip Girl), Jason Rothenberg (do filme remake Twilight Zone) e Gina Girolamo (666 Park Avenue). Rothenberg também fica responsável pelo roteiro.
